Morrison celebrated his 80th Birthday in August 2025 with intimate Belfast shows, drawing fans worldwide. The BBC dedicated an ‘Astral Weekend’ to his work, including concerts, rare archives, and special broadcasts.

In 2025, he released the album ‘Remembering Now’, launched his Orangefield Records label with ‘Moving on Skiffle’, collaborated with James Hunter Six on ‘Ain’t That a Trip’ from his album ‘Off The Fence’ and scored his first new hit single ‘Be Just and Fear Not’ in over five years.

Van Morrison will tour the US in February 2026 with further UK dates expected.

Van Morrison, Belfast’s poetic soul, exploded onto the scene with Them’s raw garage anthem “Gloria” before forging a singular path as rock’s Celtic mystic.

From the jazz-drenched transcendence of Astral Weeks (1968) and the blue-eyed soul masterpiece Moondance (1970), to later albums like Veedon Fleece and Into the Music revealed a restless seeker blending R&B, folk, and spiritual jazz. Gruff, uncompromising, and eternally searching, Sir George Ivan Morrison remains a towering, shape-shifting force equal parts street poet and cosmic shaman. His voice? Pure alchemy.
