Stockton indie heroes Young Rebel Set take to the stage tonight (Friday 14th November) for the first of two long-awaited, sold-out hometown shows at ARC, Stockton, marking their first UK appearance in almost a decade.

Tonight’s performance is completely sold out, but fans still have one final chance to catch the band live – limited tickets remain for Saturday night’s encore (15th November) and are available now via ARC’s box office and website.

Both shows mark a huge moment for the cult Northern band, who announced their return earlier this year with a new lineup, a headline German tour, and the comeback single ‘Anchorage’ taken from the recently released EP ‘Sun’.

The ARC shows promise an emotional homecoming and a rare, intimate chance to see Young Rebel Set perform where it all began – in front of the fans and community that shaped them. The sets will include music from across the band’s catalogue, including new material recorded at Abbey Road Studios earlier this year.

Support across the weekend comes from a hand-picked lineup of rising North East artists:

Speaking ahead of the shows, guitarist Andy Parmley said: “We’ve been blown away by the response. The support, the love, the fact that Stockton sold out so quickly – it’s meant everything. These shows aren’t about looking back, they’re about reconnecting and moving forward. We can’t wait to get back on that stage and share this with everyone. Friday is going to be electric, and Saturday’s not far behind it – if you’re thinking about it, now’s the time.”

The weekend also showcases some strong North‑East talent. Jodie Nicholson brings her introspective songwriting and evocative piano‑led sound to the stage on Friday. Her recent EP We Can Talk has been gathering praise for its blend of tender minimalism and soaring crescendos. Mt. Misery join Friday as well, offering their own take on dark, atmospheric rock – a fitting complement to the main act’s return

On Saturday, Robyn Errico steps up with her dynamic presence and distinctive voice, warming up the crowd ahead of Champ, who follow with their own brand of energetic indie rock to set the scene for Young Rebel Set’s headline set.
