After the success of his world tour in 2018/19, Jamali Maddix is hitting the road once again with Strip Club Einstein, kicking off the run on Sunday 26th January to Saturday 22nd May 2020.

A radical raconteur – Jamali broke records with his debut documentary series Hate Thy Neighbor in 2017which, broadcasting on VICELAND, became the channel’s highest rated show globally. The series saw Jamali navigate America’s deepest south and roughest prisons, explore rising racial tensions in Britain and Europe and anti-assimilation groups in Israel interspersed with honest narration in the form of his cutting-edge stand-up; “I’m not qualified for this role I’ll be honest with you…. I am just a comedian”. Returning for a second run for the following year, Jamali travelled back to the states focusing on demonstrations by pro-lifer groups, vigilante border patrols and third-wave feminists.

Further developing his documentary dexterity, Jamali worked with Channel 4 to deliver his own brand-new series; Adventures In Futureland. Serving as a deep dive into new technological revolutions such as cryptocurrency, virtual sex and overnight online celebrities, the three-part feature recognised Jamali own the narrative around these digital innovations and those participating in those worlds.

Jamali returns to UK venues with his latest show Strip Club Einstein, beginning on Sunday 26th January and continuing into summer 2020. Reclaiming his storytelling credentials, Strip Club Einstein draws upon the issues of morality and justice as well as Jamali’s own personal growth and experiential learnings; All delivered with his natural charm, confidence and sensitivity that leaves many of his contemporaries behind.

Getting a taste for travel with his series work, Jamali embarked on his first world tour in 2018 with his unflinching show Vape Lord. On the 10-month run, Jamali visited North America, Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East. The tour included a complete sell out run of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Jamali teamed up with The Hook to create “The Breakdown” his new podcast where he interviews stars and innovators within the arts. Guests so far include The Wu Tang Crew, Reggie Yates, Iain Stirling and others. He is also recognisable from appearances on Live At The Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Dara O’Brien’s Go 8-Bit and many more.
