McFly announced for Margate Summer Series

McFly to join next summer’s array of world-class musical talent for the hotly anticipated Margate Summer Series.

Today, it is announced that McFly join next summer’s array of world-class musical talent for the hotly anticipated Margate Summer Series. The pop punk favourites will be at Dreamland Margate for a one-day, huge outdoor headline summer spectacle where fans will be treated to their biggest and best-loved sing-along hits. Taking place on Friday 7 July  2023, tickets go on general sale this Friday 9 December at 9am via www.margatesummerseries.co.uk.

With seven UK number-one singles, six top-ten albums, seven arena tours and ten million records sold worldwide, McFly are without question one of the most significant British pop acts of the 21st century. Since hitting the big time as the youngest band ever to have a debut album go straight to #1 — beating The Beatles’ long-standing record — Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry have become one of our best-loved bands, not to mention major stars in their own right. With a catalogue of McFly classics ‘All About You’, ‘Five Colours In Her Hair’ and ‘Obviously’, as well as new tracks ‘Happiness’ and ‘Tonight Is The Night’, it’s set to be an unforgettable show on the Margate seafront next summer.

Today’s announcement follows recent news that the Funk & Soul Weekender will return to Margate next summer, along with even more huge headline gigs at Dreamland Margate from Bad Blood hitmakers, Bastille, as well as Primal Scream and the Happy Mondays, and Olly Murs. Tickets for these shows are on sale now.
