Alt/pop trio SHADED have today released their EP _003.  The 5 track body of work features recently released singles Heartbroken People and My Nightmare, which received its first radio play on BBC Music Introducing Eastplus the unheard tracks It’s Hard, Forever and We Should Be Happy. Listen here.

Matt has explained of the EP release, “We made this EP to address the tougher and darker times that come as a result of a heavy breakup, but as is often the case, things ALWAYS work out for the best, and that’s the story we wanted to tell with this EP’s theme.”

Showing no signs of slowing down, the three-piece will make their long-awaited return to the stage on 29th September. They will play a special intimate Live Nation showcase at Old Blue Last, in Shoreditch. Tickets are free and can be purchased here. Cutting their teeth on the live scene over the last few years, SHADED have played shows with Stand Atlantic, Hey Charlie as well as several headline tours, plus festivals such as The Great Escape Festival in Brighton.

Last year saw SHADED launch their most ambitious and exciting body of work, A Year Of You. The ongoing project will culminate in a total of 20 songs, released during the course of the lockdown. The tracks explore themes such as heartbreak, self-discovery and recovery, and blends genres RnB, pop, rock and funk. EP 1 _001 can be heard here, and  _002 can be heard here. SHADED have received strong support across Spotify where they have surpassed 2 million overall streams, and on Apple Music where they have been included in several playlists.
