BBC Sound of 2019 Nominee’s Sea Girls tour starts Feb

Following their nomination for the prestigious BBC Sound of 2019 – the only band nominated – Sea Girls are heading out on their biggest headline tour to date next month

Sea Girls have announced their biggest UK headline tour to date for Spring 2019, tickets are on sale now via www.seagirls.net/uk-tour. All shows are 14+, except Cardiff which is 16+.

Renowned for their frenetic, sweat drenched live shows, the band will kick off the tour in Oxford on 25th Feb, taking in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Cardiff, Portsmouth, and rounding off at London’s Heaven on 8th March.

This summer has seen Sea Girls racing between cities nation-wide, setting their sights firmly skywards, taking their euphoric guitar anthems to over 22 festivals across the country andgaining thousands of new fans in the process. Their new UK tour will be their biggest to date and follows their slew of headline tour dates in February and October 2018, including a sold-out show at London’s Scala earlier this month.

Sea Girls latest single ‘All I Want To Hear You Say’ follows seamlessly in the band’s quick successive run of unrelenting festival bangers, but sees the quartet aim higher than ever before. An exciting progression within the band’s already signature sound, AIWTHYS has gained widespread support with a huge raft of plays at Radio 1, including Tune Of The Week with both Annie Mac and Jack Saunders, as well as hitting #1 on Phil Taggart’s Hype Chart, as well as love at Radio X and beyond. The track also peaked at #1 on Hype Machine, beating the band’s previous entry of ‘Call Me Out’ at #2.

The band’s highly anticipated debut album will be released in 2019, more news to come.
