SVN, the new seven-piece girl group formed of the original cast of the award-winning global phenomenon SIX The Musical, have returned with their latest independently-released, self-penned single ‘BOSS’ – a powerful, motivated girl power anthem with a hard-hitting rock edge. Listen HERE. The single comes after the group’s sold out headline gig at O2 Academy Islington last weekend where they performed a mix of original songs and covers showcasing their tight harmonies and energetic choreography all in one epic set.

BOSS is the SVN pop sound we know and love with a merge of hip hop & rock. The drive throughout the song from the orchestration & vocals, encapsulates the boss energy of the SVN women and sets out to empower all communities. With united chants ‘we didn’t come here to PLAY!’ there’s the light and shade of classic SVN legato layered harmonies with a hard hitting staccato chorus on top, showing the gentleness yet toughness of womankind. A lyrical and vocal showcase from SVN.

Celebrating their diversity as well as boasting incredible vocals, SVN are undeniably relatable. The former musical cast now turned pop stars, SVN is comprised of Aimie Atkinson, Alexia Mcintosh, Grace Mouat, Jarneia Richard-Noel, Maiya Quansah-Breed, Millie O’Connell and Natalie May Paris. Each member has their own hugely successful individual careers alongside the group, with major roles in Pretty Woman, & Juliet, RENT plus a number of Olivier Award nominations.

SVN’s sold out gig at London’s O2 Academy Islington marked the group’s debut headline live show, following their virtual shows during lockdown, including a reunion show at Oval Space which became one of the first live-streamed concerts with a live audience, and their self-produced showcase ‘Girl Power’, selling over 12,000 tickets across the two events. At their recent headline show, SVN further cemented their undeniable prowess as world class live performers, giving fans an exclusive preview of their forthcoming new music and repertoire so far.
