Australian chart-topping and ARIA-award winning act Boy & Bear release their newest single, “Silver Moon”, taken from the band’s forthcoming self-titled fifth studio album, Boy & Bear, set to be released independently on May 26.

The fourth song to be featured on their forthcoming album, “Silver Moon” is a silky hit of indie-pop. Slinky synth jabs and sharp guitar riffs accompany Dave Hosking’s vocals. A gliding run of guitar melodies and falsettos marry together an immediate and catchy single of punchy and curious grooves.

Following four ARIA top-10 charted albums, including two to take out the number one slot, Harlequin Dream and Limit of Love, it is with high anticipation that the indie band reveal their fifth studio LP. The band will celebrate their new record by touring nationally, supported by Boo Seeka and FELIVAND. On June 16, the band will take to Melbourne’s Palais Theatre before venturing to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall the following night on June 17. The following week, Boy & Bear head Wellington’s San Fran on June 23, before a stop in Auckland at Powerstation on June 24. Next on June 30, the band perform at their hometown of Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, before travelling to Perth on July 14 before a gig at Perth Concert Hall. Closing out the run is a performance at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Saturday, July 15.
