Fresh from the release of his latest hit album Roll With the Punches earlier this year, Bryan Adams releases ‘California Christmas’, a sun-soaked festive anthem that puts a bright West Coast spin on the Christmas season. Stream or Download ‘California Christmas’ HERE
‘California Christmas’ brings together an all-star cast of friends from the forthcoming Bryan Adams & Friends ‘A Great Big Holiday Jam’ TV special, including, Alessia Cara, Alan Doyle, Barenaked Ladies, and The Sheepdogs. Recorded live at Vancouver’s iconic Warehouse Studio, the single captures the warmth, joy, and musical chemistry that define Adams’ collaborations.
The track offers the first glimpse of Adams’ forthcoming festive album, Bryan Adams & Friends: A Great Big Holiday Jam. The album arrives December 8th via Bad Records – the same day the highly anticipated Christmas special premieres on Citytv and streams on Citytv+ in Canada.
While much of the world may be dusted in snow, Adams leans into a more humorous kind of Christmas magic on this single – palm trees wrapped in lights, golden sunsets, ocean breezes, and the easy-going cheer of Christmas spent oceanside. From beachside relaxation to hanging mistletoe by the pool, ‘California Christmas’ paints an irresistible picture of December in the sunshine.
Powered by catchy hooks, bright guitars, lush harmonies, and Adams’ unmistakable vocals, the single stands out as a festive favourite in the making – perfect for Christmas playlists, winter road trips, and anyone dreaming of a Christmas wrapped in the sun.
‘California Christmas’ is available now on all major streaming platforms.
The song comes ahead of his latest run of UK shows which will see him headline three arenas in December including Hull Connexin Live (8th), Cardiff Utilita Arena (9th) and the Brighton Centre (10th).
Bryan Adams has been touring the world over with the release of Roll With the Punches which has journeyed throughout New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA in 2025. Following the forthcoming UK shows, Adams will make his live return to Europe for the remainder of the year. 2026 will see him tour extensively throughout Asia and the Americas.
