Bulsara and His Queenies are a remarkable band that perform the music of Queen to an exceptional and spine-tingling standard.  In February – April 2020 they set out on a tour of O2 Academy venues bringing this exceptional show to seven cities across the country.

In early 2018 they were approached by Queen Productions Limited to perform at The Official Freddie Birthday Party in Montreux, Switzerland which was streamed live on Queen’s official YouTube channel.   Such was the nature of their unprecedented performance; within 24 hours, they were asked back for the following year – a feat accomplished by no other band. They now will be returning for a third consective year in 2020.

The quality of the musicianship is world class. This unique band have a lead singer whose vocal resemblance to Freddie Mercury is extraordinary and are backed by superb vocal harmonies and a meticulously accurate back line.

Based in the North of England, Bulsara and His Queenies have their own identity; not quite what is expected of your typical ‘Queen Tribute Band’. There are no wigs, no yellow jacket and no attempt to look like Queen. The band take pride in performing the ‘studio versions’ of Queen’s back catalogue and not the easier live versions and there is no attempt to recreate Queen’s famous 1986 Magic Tour: this is to the delight of thousands of original die-hard Queen fans [and the next generation] who have been craving for something new and fresh within the tribute market.

The band have also recently received the seal of approval from legendary Queen manager Jim Beach and drummer Roger Taylor, both of whom are taking a keen interest in the band’s progress.
