Music legend and pop culture icon Chaka Khan is announced today as part of a hugely anticipated triple bill for next summer’s Nocturne Live concert series. The 10-time Grammy winner, who is touring in celebration of both her 70th birthday and 50th year in music, will perform at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire on Thursday June 13th alongside disco legends Sister Sledge and party-starting funk group The Fatback Band.

Chaka Khan, Sister Sledge and The Fatback Band join Crowded House, Sheryl Crow and Turin Brakes on the line-up for the first two dates announced for Nocturne Live 2024, which returns next summer from June 12th – 16th.

For over five decades, Chaka Khan has remained one of music’s most influential voices. Alongside releasing 23 albums and enjoying a string of hits including Ain’t Nobody, I’m Every Woman, I Feel For You and Tell Me Something Good, Khan has collaborated with the likes of Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder and Mary J. Blige, and was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

Joining Khan on the line-up on Thursday June 13th will be disco queens Sister Sledge, the multi-million-selling vocal group behind the classic anthems We Are Family, Thinking Of You, He’s The Greatest Dancer and Lost In Music, and funk and soul outfit The Fatback Band who revolutionised the foundations of dance, funk, soul, rap and R&B in the ‘70s and ‘80s and continue to wow crowds around the world over fifty years after their inception.

Nocturne Live transforms Blenheim Palace’s Great Court into a spectacular 10,000-capacity open-air concert venue and since its inception in 2015 has gone on to become one of the UK’s most popular stately home concert experiences. Over the years the series has presented shows from a host of huge international stars including the likes of Lionel Ritchie, Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Nile Rodgers, Lauryn Hill, Noel Gallagher, Gregory Porter, Van Morrison, Tears for Fears, Gladys Knight, Elvis Costello, Simple Minds and Ennio Morricone amongst many others.

Next summer’s Nocturne Live runs from June 12th – 16th 2024. Tickets for Chaka Khan, Sister Sledge and The Fatback Band start at £54 and go on sale at 9am on Friday December 1st. Pre-sale is available to those signed up to the Nocturne Live mailing list and begins at 9am on Tuesday November 28th. Tickets, along with a limited number of VIP packages – which provide an exclusive opportunity to dine in the State Rooms of Blenheim Palace – are available from www.nocturnelive.com.

More acts for the series will be announced in due course.
