Irish singer/songwriter Cian Ducrot, has just released the video for his latest single ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ which is currently at #22 in The Official Charts. The video also comes ahead of his completely sold out UK headline tour this March, including London’s KOKO on March 20th (full dates below)
It’s an emotive track, with the video mirroring the narrative of the poignant pop ballad. About the track Cian says “When I was a kid I’d wait around for my dad to show up. Even though he was a bad person I still wanted him to care. My brother and I were conflicted between not wanting to see him and hoping he would still turn up. Till this day I still don’t understand why he didn’t love us enough to be there and try. This music video tells that story, this is for any kid out there who’s waiting for that same love”
