Today sees UK singer and songwriter Claudia Valentina release her debut track “Seven” with accompanying live video. “Seven” marks the first track from her forthcoming debut EP.

Written alongside James Newman (Calvin Harris, Kesha) the stripped back piano ballad showcases Claudia Valentina’s delicate vocals and piercing lyrics. Whilst the beautifully shot black and white video highlights the vulnerable side of Claudia. “I guess I was really in my feels that day and the lyrics kinda wrote themselves,” she says on the track. “A lot of people can relate to feeling a bit stupid for waiting up for someone, and that person never showing up. I tend to write songs about being more of a bad bitch in the driver’s seat, but it’s important to be honest and to admit to myself that I’ve been let down.”

Claudia states that she knew right from an early age she wanted to be a singer and songwriter.  By the time she was 10 Claudia Valentina was performing on the West End stage as part of the Billy Elliot production. Following that, she and her mother moved to Los Angeles to start the journey to where she is today. At the age of 13, she was writing songs with Johan Carlsson, right-hand man to pop heavyweight Max Martin.
