Deep Purple’s new single Splat! is out today on all streaming and download platforms. The official music video premiered yesterday on the earMUSIC YouTube channel.
Strictly limited collector’s edition featuring two previously unreleased live recordings from Montreux Jazz Festival 2026 available for pre-order now.
Splat! is the title track and grand finale of the band’s current studio album SPLAT! – and brings its central idea full circle. At the heart of SPLAT! is a concept conceived by singer Ian Gillan: rather than treating the end as destruction, the album imagines it as transformation – a metamorphosis beyond physical existence.
Splat! follows Arrogant Boy, Diablo and Guilt Trippin’, the three singles that preceded the release of SPLAT! on July 3rd. Recorded with producer Bob Ezrin, Deep Purple’s 24th studio album follows the band’s previous four studio albums, all of which reached number 1 in multiple countries.
Collectors can look forward to a special physical release. Splat! is now available for pre-order on limited CD Digisleeve (strictly limited to 3,000 copies) and limited 12-inch crystal clear vinyl (180g, 45 rpm, strictly limited to 2,500 copies), featuring two previously unreleased live recordings captured at Montreux Jazz Festival on July 13th, 2026: Scriblin’ Gib’rish from SPLAT! and Guinnesis, the bonus track available only in the SPLAT! box set.
Deep Purple are currently on the European arena leg of the SPLAT! World Tour, which comprises 86 shows across 28 countries on three continents. After dates across Europe the tour concludes in South America in December.
Tickets are available via Deep Purple’s official website.
