Teesside-born and based rising star, Finn Forster today returns with his brand new rousing and defiant single, Blame It On You, listen here. The track hears Finn’s signature raw and soulful vocal full of passion, and explores themes of accepting responsibility and evolving as a person.
Since the release of previous single, Strangers in May, Finn has had a jam-packed and admirable festival season, playing the likes of TRNSMT, Boardmasters, Isle of Wight and more. Around the release of Strangers, Finn went out on his biggest headline tour yet which was almost completely sold out. He hit cities including Glasgow, York, Manchester and London where he headlined Colours in Hoxton.
Next up, Finn will support New York-based rock artist Des Rocs on the UK and EU leg of his headline tour, in October. They will kick things off at Manchester’s Gorilla on 10th October, and will then make their way around London where they’ll play The Garage on 11th October, and then Hamburg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Cologne and Paris, before wrapping things up at the Lime Club in Milan on 23rd October. Tickets can be found here.
2025 was a triumphant year for Finn; he played a show as part of the Mercury Prize Fringe in Newcastle, supported pop royalty JADE at the BBC Proms, completed his own sold-out UK & Ireland headline tour, supported Bastille at the Motorpoint Arena, and also supported Stereophonics on their UK & European stadium tour in the Summer and on their Winter arena tour, plus played various UK festivals including Reading & Leeds and Kendal Calling. Finn also received the coveted PPL Momentum Fund on behalf of the PRS Foundation, and was chosen as a Tees Valley Artist Of The Year, earning himself career-defining funding and support, which in turn helps boost his region’s creative industries. All of these remarkable accolades are no mean feat for an artist born and bred in a small industrial town in Teesside, where opportunities in the music industry are few and far between.
