Genre-blending singer-songwriter Georgia Webster unlocks a new chapter of music with the release of “Attention” (Listen HERE). Channeling an Olivia Rodrigo-esque mindset of “turning the crazy up to an eleven,” Webster highlights the lengths she is willing to go to capture someone’s attention. Whether it’s crashing her car or getting bit by a shark, the songstress illustrates the hypothetical and delusional thoughts that cloud her mind following a breakup.

“If I crashed my car / If I broke my arm / Got bit by a shark / Would you care then? / Would you care then? / If my heart gave out / If my house burned down / Baby, do I have to fly halfway to heaven just to get your attention?”

‘“Attention’ is the first song I’ve ever released that I didn’t write on. I’ve always told myself that I’d never put something out I didn’t write, mainly because songwriting is such a core part of my identity as an artist. But when Emily Weisband, who I’ve been a fan of since high school, played the song for me after I went through a breakup a few months ago, I was literally speechless. It’s rare that a song leaves me with full body chills and that’s exactly what ‘Attention’ did to me, so of course I had to cut it. I hope people connect with this song as much as I do,” says Webster.

Defining this new era of music, Webster worked alongside her producer, King Henry (Sasha Sloan, Justin Bieber, Major Lazer, Beyonce), to hone in her sound by creating some of “the most exciting and authentic music she’s written so far.”

Following a busy year on Kelsea Ballerini’s HEARTFIRST TOUR, Webster is “slowing” things down by embarking on an acoustic TOWN TALKS TOUR beginning in Nashville, TN at The Basement on January 24th.
