GotSome releases floor-filling new single ‘River Ocean’

A percussion-led, club-ready jam, ‘River Ocean’ pairs soaring female vocals with rhythmic drums, delicate piano keys and relaxed breakbeats

GotSome has unveiled his new single ‘River Ocean’, out 24th April on Ultra.

A percussion-led, club-ready jam, ‘River Ocean’ pairs soaring female vocals with rhythmic drums, delicate piano keys and relaxed breakbeats – resulting in a timeless track that leaves a lasting impression.

GotSome has been on an upward trajectory since his arrival on the international circuit in 2014. In a short space of time, the Bristolian’s skills have spawned a slew of bass-heavy, dancefloor destroyers – most notably ‘Bassline’, a club smash championed by BBC Radio 1 tastemakers B.Traits and Annie Mac.

In the last year, the talented producer has collaborated with industry heavy-hitters such as New Orleans’ Big Freedia on their single, ‘Poppin’, the ‘voice of house music’, Chuck Roberts on ‘The Message’ and the trailblazing, Roxanne Shanti on their tune, ‘Plastic on Acid’.

Marking his first release of the new decade, ‘River Ocean’ sees GotSome craft a percussive banger that’s custom-made for those long summer nights.

GotSome is UK producer and DJ extraordinaire Adam Gorsky, a man who has been on an upward trajectory since his arrival on the international circuit in 2014. In an amazingly short space of time, he has clocked up a series of achievements and career highlights that place him one step ahead of most of his peers and affirm his position as the leader of a new generation of talented British producers.

Adam’s skills have already spawned a slew of bass-heavy, dance floor destroyers including ‘Bassline’, championed by Radio 1’s B.Traits and Annie Mac and signed to Defected Records with a huge package of remixes from house legend Kenny Dope, Friend Within, Chus + Ceballos and Chocolate Puma.

More recently he collaborated with the ‘Godfather of grime’ Wiley to produce ‘Vibe Out’, which was signed to Chase & Status’ inimitable label MTA Records.
