Hans Zimmer puts on an audio visual treat for Manchester

“The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration” is a unique opportunity to introduce orchestral music to a new generation, to preserve the orchestral culture and present it in a less elite world.

Hans Zimmer is a German film score composer and has composed the music to over 150 films. His works include The Lion King, for which he won the Best Original Score in 1995, Pirates of The Caribbean, Dunkirk and countless more.  Having speak the early part of his career in the UK, he then moved to the USA where he is head of the film music division at DreamWorks.

So whilst his name may not be that familiar to you his music most certainly will be. For two hours Hans Zimmer delighted the audience at Manchester arena with music familiar to all as well as amusing anecdotes.With a full orchestra, special guests and huge screen displaying various images, colourful graphics, and film sequences. This is certainly an audio visual spectacular show that is well worth watching.
