Chicago-born R&B/soul artist, itoldLexi today releases her long-awaited EP, Unconditionally, Lexi. The overriding theme explored throughout is love in its many forms; self-love, unconditional love and unrequited love. Written and performed by Lexi herself, the EP spans 8 tracks, which includes previously released singles Options and Softin’. Unconditionally, Lexi is available to stream/download here.
Of the EP, Lexi says, “Unconditionally, Lexi is a reminder that love is not a linear path, but a multifaceted journey. This journey has been enriched by working with both women and men from both the US and the UK, transcending geographical boundaries and embracing diverse perspectives. Love goes far beyond the realms of romance; it extends to friends and family, to strangers, and to lifelong relationships. Love, in its truest form, is about providing support and guidance to one another. It’s about exercising patience and striving for a deeper understanding of each other and of life itself.”
Alongside the release of Unconditionally, Lexi, the London-based artist has announced a headline show at the historic Troubadour in Earl’s Court. Taking place on 15th February 2024, the intimate gig will give fans a chance to see Lexi perform the EP live for the first time, up close and personal. Tickets can be found here. itoldLexi followed up her tracks For You and Balance which came out earlier this year, with the sultry Get It Right, which has been going down a storm live. 2019 saw Lexi release her debut EP, With Love, Lexi. This was a big year for the singer, not only did she graduate from Berklee, she also released some of her most popular music to date, namely Just Breathe, and Favorite Type.
