Sung from the heart, infused with the spirit, and dealing with the realities of life, Jake Isaac’s take on contemporary soul examines the finer nuances of the human condition – it’s an approach that the south Londoner excels at throughout his new album ‘CRY.DANCE.LOVE.’ which will be released on 19th February 2027. He launches the album with the new single ‘ONLY YOURS’. Listen HERE.

Jake Isaac had explored his gospel soul roots in his previous album, 2024’s ‘BENJAMIN’, and realised he wanted to go deeper in the spirituality that has always been a part of his life this time round. Also enthused by going back to his reason for sharing his songs with people in the first place, he returned to his pivotal influences: the reflection and introspective of Paul Simon and Bill Withers, with the gospel power of The Temptations and James Brown – but with themes centred around who he is and where society is at in 2026. The result is a beautifully uplifting album of pure soul, happiness and hope.

Jake says, “I hope this album will help people value what they feel again. Hence the title. I’ve got a two-year-old and she says how she feels all the time. I want this record to allow people to do that.”

Those intense emotions flow into the album’s new single ‘ONLY YOURS’. It’s a love song, but one that’s more poignant than the rush of lust or the first flickering of romance that such a phrase implies. Instead, Jake channels love in a way that’s devotional, committed, life-long – a love that’s real, time-honoured and earned. There’s a touch of alt-pop unpredictability in the way that he sets an almost hip-hop beat to this timeless soul style, led by his ever phenomenal baritone.

‘ONLY YOURS’ joins the recent ‘A SUMMER LONG AGO’ and ‘WHEN THE WORLD’S ON FIRE’ (featuring Aaron Childs) in building anticipation for the album. Elsewhere the record’s many shades range from radio-friendly dance-pop to soaring ballads and more intimate arrangements.
