‘Supernova’ is the debut single from Jamie Kudo, the new stage alias of Siddharth Bhambure. The singer-songwriter, formerly known simply as Sid, has had a recent rebrand, and enters a new, promising era as Jamie Kudo.

The 20-year-old’s rich, ambient music has had huge support from the likes of Earmilk, Ones To Watch, Atwood Magazine, Outloud Culture, Raynbow Affair, Gig Soup, Fomo Blog, Eat This Music, and Rolling Stone India. Kudo has spent his time since writing emotional tunes about finding love, individuality and introspection from his university bedroom, creating the soundtrack to the movie he felt like he was playing a role in – the role of a character in a narrative not yet fully defined.

Mumbai-born, London-based Jamie Kudo is heavily influenced by songwriting pop masters Ed Sheeran and Lauv, which has earned him well over 100k streams since beginning his music career, as well as a string of successful London shows at renowned venues such as Hoxton Underbelly, as well as playing The Great Escape Festival 2022.

Kudo’s synth-drenched, punchy track ‘Supernova’ shows off the proficiency in his songwriting. Speaking of his track, Jamie says “ This track is like the first sip of whiskey

that you drink taking off on a plane headed to a place you don’t know for two, maybe three or four years, looking out and watching your city get smaller in the distance.”

‘Supernova’ is out on all streaming platforms now. Be sure to follow Jamie Kudo on Instagram for more music news.
