Brooklyn-based vocal powerhouse Loren Allred today releases her version of ‘You Say’, reimagining the inspirational mega-hit written by Lauren Diagle into a soaring power ballad. Listen HERE.
Loren’s version debuted live on Britain’s Got Talent in May 2022 and has received more than 10 million views to date across all platforms. Receiving praise from Simon Cowell, David Foster and Lauren Diagle herself, it’s inspirational message ties to Loren’s more than 15 years in the music industry. She dedicates it to all of the people in her life that have supported her through the lows, and is meant to inspire others to continue to strive.
“Simon Cowell selected “You Say” as my Semi-Final performance for Britain’s Got Talent and it was so fitting,” explains Loren. “I feel so connected to the song and its message. I dedicated the performance and this recording to the people who pushed me, and believed in me before I believed in myself. After my performance, I knew I needed to put out my own version because of how much the song means to me. I hope my new followers from Britain’s Got Talent enjoy my extended take on this beloved song.”
Best known for her jaw-dropping vocal performance in the multi-platinum song ‘Never Enough’ from the Oscar nominated and Grammy award winning The Greatest Showman soundtrack and film, as well as her duet with Michael Bublé on his 2019 ‘Help Me Make it Through the Night’, Loren is now starting to garner significant recognition, stepping out from behind the curtain and drawing comparisons for her incredible vocal talent with all-time greats Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion.
Loren was almost a musical secret until April 2022 when she first appeared on Britain’s Got Talent performing ‘Never Enough’. The story of finally connecting her face to the song, has generated more than 100 million views across all platforms, and launched her into the semi-finals and finals of the competition.
In 2021 and 2022, Loren began to release original music via her EP ‘Late Bloomer’. Singles ‘Til I Found You’ and ‘This Summer’ received overwhelmingly positive reviews. Loren also toured with Andrea Bocelli and David Foster through 2022.
