Millie Manders and The Shutup have announced their new single, Silent Screams, the first to be taken from their debut album later this year, will be released on 3 April on all platforms. The first track to be taken from their debut album due for release later this year. The single tackles the terrors of feeling caged, feeling trapped, displaying suicidal thoughts and the struggle to fight against them, subjects very close to Millie’s heart.

The video for the single is available to watch below.

Suicidal thoughts are hard to deal with, even harder to talk about, and I wanted to channel the frustration I have with myself when I feel like I can’t speak, by expressing it through music instead. It’s OK to not be OK but, when you’re not OK, it’s so hard. Please try to remember, however, that talking is the first step to healing.” MILLIE MANDERS
