LA based singer NJOMZA her new EP LIMBO. The project showcases production from Tommy Brown, Skrillex, and more, and features some standout R&B acts like Metro Marrs (Quality Control), Ari Lennox, Russ, and WurlD. The 7-track collection details a period of newfound growth for NJOMZA as she touches on love and relationship woes and ultimately transitions into a more confident person. Her name translated as ‘something new that has just been created’, like a flower, NJOMZA synonymously mirrors her innate drive for pushing forward & her journey of self-discovery in forging her own path of omnific artistry. Today, NJOMZA also shares a new track / visual for “tidal wave,” featuring Ari Lennox – following them through the night for a quick heist.

NJOMZA previously shared two tracks from the EP, “winter in atlanta” featuring Russ and “over and done,” both a blend of sonic and lyrical mood mastery drawing praise from the likes of PAPER Magazine and UPROXX’s ‘Best New R&B.’ NJOMZA recently spoke with Lee Shaner (BKA rapper “Intuition”) of Kinda Neat Podcast, where she detailed new EP LIMBO, her parents immigration story, overcoming perfectionism, and performed “over and done” live in-studio. It is NJOMZA’s diverse background that allows her to shine bright. She was born in Germany to Kosovar-Albanian parents and grew up in Chicago. NJOMZA gained notoriety after Mac Miller caught one of her uploaded YouTube covers, promptly signing her to his REMember Music label. Settling in Los Angeles, she cameoed on “Planet God Damn” from Miller’s acclaimed 2016 offering, The Divine Feminine. Thereafter, NJOMZA unveiled her acclaimed debut EP, Sad For You, in 2017 which received early praise from the likes of Noisey, Complex, Pigeons & Planes, Office Magazine, and more. In 2018, she inked a deal with Motown Records and released her second EP, Vacation. 2019 saw NJOMZA embark on her first-ever U.S. headline tour, in addition to touring with “3 Nights” hitmaker Dominic Fike overseas. Most recently, NJOMZA is recognized for her songwriting work on Ariana Grande’s GRAMMY-nominated thank u, next album. NJOMZA’s total career streams have surpassed 90 million. She is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on her full-length debut album.
