Fast-rising Worthing trio NOISY have shared their latest single, ‘Days Go By’, out now via Island Records. Listen here.

Offering a songscape of textured drum-breaks, rave-ready house-piano and catchy hooks, ‘Days Go By’ has all the anthemic characteristics of a festival essential, and couldn’t come at a better time. In the anticipation of releasing the new track, the group recently teased a heavy Fat Boy Slim X Yeah Yeah Yeahs mash-up on socials which has undoubtedly wet the appetite of fans.

The single release coincides with their announcement of their eagerly anticipated UK headline tour. Kicking off at Nottingham’s Bodega on October 13th, the group will bring their live show to Brighton, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle before coming to a close at London’s Colours October 27th.

On the new single, frontman Cody Mathews says: “Days Go By’ is a track about everyday life passing you by. Living each day by the next, stating the mundane with the opposites in your head and most importantly trying not to overthink it”

Fans now have the opportunity to experience some of the bands new music just ahead of the tour, having been confirmed for this year’s Reading & Leeds Festival, performing on the BBC Radio 1 Dance www. Friday 2nd July, the group will also host one of their ‘Fast FWD To Friday’ events at Brighton Electric, which will see them perform a live DJ set, with other guests to be announced.

Making music with no boundaries, NOISY comprises singer Cody, guitarist Connor and producer Spencer, a three-piece hybrid of hooks, beats and escapism. Before signing with Island Records, NOISY worked alongside each other at their local NHS hospital as cleaners. This did not hinder their uncompromising drive to pursue music, quite the opposite, in fact. Their routine was to record demos during the day, and fine-tune the recordings at night, together, whilst they cleaned the hospital. Their latest EP ‘I Wish I Was A’ is a product of this hard grafting process.

This DIY mindset sits at the core of NOISY’s DNA, as the group write, record and produce everything themselves as well as often shoot their own music videos and design their own merch.

NOISY are a band for the playlist generation. They’re the voice for all the 20-somethings, the weekend warriors spending five days aching only to get back out and do it again. An antidote for the rat race, with a feel good vibe to match.
