Olly Murs releases an intoxicating new single, ‘I Hate You When You’re Drunk’, out now on EMI. It’s one of the stand out tracks from his eagerly anticipated forthcoming album ‘Marry Me’ released December 2nd. LISTEN HERE.

Written by Olly, David Stewart and Jessica Agombar; produced by David Stewart and mixed by Ash Howes, ‘I Hate You When You’re Drunk’ is one big slice of anthemic pop. We’ll all be singing it from the rooftops this Christmas. Afterall, ‘tis the season to be Olly!

We’ve all been there, embarrassed by a friend, relative or partner who’s had one too many. Dancing on tables! Bad karaoke! Telling the same stories over and over! Guilty as charged!

I thought it was a fun song to write as there have been so many times where a friend, family member or loved one has had one too many,” says Olly. “It’s a light-hearted take from the sober person’s point of view. We all know someone!!!!

‘Marry Me’ is Olly’s first new album in four years and the 7th of his illustrious career. “I Hate You When You’re Drunk’, follows last month’s pop banger ‘Die of a Broken Heart’.

Of course, Olly Murs is presently anything but broken-hearted. Engaged and happy, he’s newly energised and ready to tour the UK next spring.

So put that drink down and get dancing!
