One to watch Soul-singer Olympia Vitalis offers the second installment of the ‘Lady Luck’ era, with the release of her dazzling new single ‘Money Tree’. The track expands on the world she’s shaping around her sound, steadily solidifying Olympia as one of this year’s most exciting voices in soul. The track is available here.
‘Money Tree’ arrives as the follow up to her enchanting single ‘Daze’, with a sound that feels assured and quietly expansive. Built around sumptuous layering, the track leans into warmth and depth, giving her distinctive vocal the space to shine alongside a bassline that remains captivating throughout. The track was first introduced at her sold out headline show at St Pancras Church in April, marking its debut in an intimate setting.
On the track, Olympia says “This track started with a conversation I had with [producer] Charlie about a painting he had on his wall which showed the futility of money and materialism. I wanted to make this song really visual, describing fires and smoke surrounding the narrator as they walk out into almost apocalyptic scenes. The beat borderlines on a breakbeat which people may not expect from me but I think it really suits the story of the song”
Releasing her debut EP People Watching in July 2025, Olympia introduced a project centred on observing people and the stories that shape them, told with as little judgement as possible. The EP has since garnered over 1.5 million streams and received support from Radio 1, as well as publications such as CLASH, who named her one of the “25 Artists Who Could Define the Year”. 2025 marked a turning point for Olympia, and the response to Daze, followed by her swiftly sold out show at St Pancras Old Church in April, has only pushed that rise further.
Olympia follows her headline show with a run of summer festival appearances, including Love Supreme on 5th July, Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival on 10th July, Gent Jazz Festival in Belgium on 18th July, and Good Vibrations Festival in the UK on 2nd August.
