Following the release of his debut body of work “First and Foremost” in 2018, 26-year-old singer/songwriter Plested drops his first offering of 2019, the polished, vulnerable pop gem “Either You Love Me or You Don’t”.

Speaking on the track, Plested states: “This song is about not knowing how someone really feels about you – it was inspired by a real-life situation and also from times I’ve been put in ‘friend-zone’.” Co-written with Emily Warren (Dua Lipa, Sigrid, Khalid), and Mac and Phil (Emeli Sandé, David Guetta, James Arthur), this is another definitive statement of intent from the rising artist that continues to cement his reputation as one of the UK’s brightest young talents.

Recognised as one of the hottest songwriters in the game right now, penning for the likes of Zayn Malik, Little Mix and Ray BLK, Plested drip-fed a stream of releases last year, culminating in his debut body of work in April – embarking on a debut European tour alongside it.

Plested has been touring continuously this year, opening for the likes of Alec Benjamin, Calum Scott, Emile Sandé and Mogli in Europe as well as Nina Nesbitt across North America. Plested started playing“Either You Love Me or You Don’t” in his set lists and given the crowd reaction felt he had to drop it as a single.

Another thoughtful, superlative piece of craftsmanship that should see Plested shining deservedly in his own right this year.

Plested will be supporting Maisie Peters on tour, starting tonight at Glasgow’s King Tuts:

25-Apr-19    Glasgow      King Tuts
27-Apr-19    Leeds      Hyde Park Book Club
