‘Read My Mind’ new from You Me At Six

You Me At Six today release ‘Read My Mind’, taken from the forthcoming deluxe edition of their chart topping UK Number One album ‘SUCKAPUNCH’

Amidst a truly stellar year, You Me At Six today release ‘Read My Mind’, taken from the forthcoming deluxe edition of their chart topping UK Number One album ‘SUCKAPUNCH’, due for release July 2nd and available to pre-order here.

‘Read My Mind’ arrives during an epic 2021 for the band that includes joining Bring Me The Horizon across their UK arena dates in September, following their own headline tour.

Following the release of ‘Voicenotes (Alternative Edition)’, fans now get an electrifying brand new track from the UK five piece. ‘Read My Mind’ arrives bombastic and unapologetic, a battle cry that is equal parts vulnerable and apoplectic in music and lyrics. The track’s thunderous energy perfectly compliments the spirit cultivated throughout ‘SUCKAPUNCH’.

About the track, Frontman Josh Franceschi said “As we haven’t been able to tour because of the pandemic, we’ve been putting all our focus into writing and recording new music. ‘Read My Mind’ came from one of those studio sessions, and taps into the versatility we explore on SUCKAPUNCH – it seemed like the perfect fit for the extended edition of the album.”

‘Read My Mind’ comes straight from ‘SUCKAPUNCH Deluxe’, which sees You Me At Six continue to push boundaries further with their longtime producer Dan Austin (Biffy Clyro, Massive Attack, Pixies). Fans can expect brand new tracks that truly enhance the personal and genre transgressing nature of ‘SUCKAPUNCH’, with songs like ‘Read My Mind’, ‘Headshot’ and ‘Serotonin Szn’ showing the band’s progressive and experimental songwriting, alongside new interpretations of stand outs ‘Beautiful Way’ and ‘Glasgow’, the latter of which was recorded with a 30-piece orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.

In addition to their hotly anticipated ‘SUCKAPUNCH’ UK tour in September, as well as performing on the Main Stage of the Isle of Wight Festival, You Me At Six will join Bring Me The Horizon on their arena tour across the UK.

You Me At Six have proven themselves to be one of the biggest and most prolific rock bands in Britain. Their 15 year career has seen four UK Gold Records and six Top Ten Albums in the UK, 17 consecutive A-List singles on BBC Radio One. In addition, they’ve sold out multiple US headline tours, with a Number One rock song in the UK, Australia, and Top Five Rock Radio track in North America.
