Multi-PLATINUM, ACM and CMA Award-winning singer-songwriter Riley Green releases a new song, “Go Again (ft. Hannah McFarland)” via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. The track is the latest release featured on his forthcoming album, That’s Just Me, due September 18th. Listen here.
Self-penned by Green, “Go Again (ft. Hannah McFarland)” is a slow-burning, dynamic vocal interplay track that captures the pull between knowing it’s time to say goodbye and wanting just one more moment together. Marked by warm acoustic guitar and subtle slide guitar textures, the open production allows the yearning lyrics to remain at the center. Trading verses from opposite perspectives, Green and his long-time tourmate and fellow Alabama native, McFarland create an effortlessly blended dynamic, with Green’s low and earthy sound countered by McFarland’s soaring and emotive vocals, adding depth to the song’s emotional nature and capturing the uncertainty and unspoken feelings that often come with moments that are difficult to walk away from.
“Go Again (ft. Hannah McFarland)” is the third song released from his upcoming fourth studio album, That’s Just Me, following previously released tender ballad, “My Way,” which was featured on CBS’ hit series Marshals and boozy summer anthem “Think As You Drunk.” Written and recorded during a pivotal year in Green’s life and in the midst of the biggest tour of his career to date, That’s Just Me is a deeply personal multi-faceted body of work that captures the many sides of the country singer as both an artist and songwriter. Produced by Dann Huff, the record explores everything from fleeting love and lingering heartbreak to beachy escapism and country pride in his plainspoken, lived-in style.
