Siobhan Miller takes ten new songs to seven UK stages this November, bringing the chemistry of her longstanding band to the music of While We Have the Time. The shows pair the new record’s driving folk grooves and melodic folk-pop appeal with favourites from across her catalogue.

Released in May 2026, Live Album captured the Siobhan Miller Band across nine shows on their first full-band UK tour in 2024. It documents the warmth and driving energy of their performances, and the connection built between the musicians and their audiences.

While We Have the Time carries that live chemistry into ten new songs. The instinctive interplay developed on stage gave the band a shared starting point for those three days in the studio: listening, responding and letting the arrangements grow around Miller’s voice.

While We Have the Time, released on 6 November 2026 through Songprint Recordings, is Miller’s sixth studio album. It grew from writing with friends in Glasgow’s musical community, with the band playing together in the room and Miller on lead vocals throughout. Making room for creativity within domestic life became part of the record’s meaning: enjoying the time spent making music together, and creating something that would live on afterwards.

Fiddle, acoustic guitar and piano are set against bass and drums, giving the record its rootsy Scottish folk sound, rhythmic drive and melodic folk-pop appeal. Guest contributions from Eddi Reader, Kris Drever, Cahalen Morrison, Donald Shaw and Fergus McCreadie extend the album’s circle of collaborators across the folk and jazz communities.

The Tune Before the Song offers a more joyful response to uncertainty. A grooving band, fiddle and whistle carry a buoyant chorus about two people trusting that they will find their way together. The future remains unwritten, but the feeling is already there: knowing someone, or knowing something is right, before it needs to be put into words.
