Steps are back with more treats to brighten up your January! The British pop legends – aka H, Claire, Faye, Lee and Lisa – today premiere a very special lyric video for current single To The Beat Of My Heart which follows last week’s release of the 6-track To The Beat Of My Heart remix EP. The video is live now on YouTube – and the remix EP can be streamed or downloaded from https://Steps.lnk.to/HeartPR.

The lyric video was filmed at Coral Island Arcade in Blackpool towards the end of 2020 between rehearsals and filming for their performance on the Royal Variety. Directed by Harold Strachan and produced by Submarine Films, the five-piece were given the chance to go wild, taking over a massive video arcade and given free rein to play whatever games they wanted to – every big kid’s dream come true.

Three years after they staged one of the most successful comebacks of the decade, enduring pop superstars Steps returned with their sixth album, What the Future Holds, in November last year. They also announced a huge arena tour across the UK and Ireland to take place in November and December 2021. Steps will be joined on the tour by the brilliant Sophie Ellis-Bextor as special guest. All tickets are selling fast and are on sale now from aegpresents.co.uk/steps. The brand-new album can be streamed or downloaded on all digital platforms, and is also available to purchase in CD, Vinyl and Cassette formats.  Listen here. Within hours of the release, Steps had already scored their first #1 with the album hitting the top spot on the iTunes Album Chart and it finished the week at #2 on the Official UK Albums Chart, narrowly being pipped to the post by fellow 90s legend Gary Barlow.

Steps current single To The Beat Of My Heart was featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and Apple’s New Music Daily and was also chosen as BBC Radio 2’s ‘Record of the Week’ and currently on the station’s A-List, following a premiere on Zoe Ball’s Breakfast show. To The Beat Of My Heart is the third single from the record, following in the footsteps of title track What The Future Holds and Something In Your Eyes
