Take That today confirmed details of their 10th studio album, Dreamers, due to be released on 20th November – pre-order HERE. Previously released tracks You’re A Superstar, Sweet July and Feel My Love with Michael Patrick Kelly will feature on the album, alongside title track Dreamers, which is out now – listen here.
The release of the album comes within a year of reflection for the band, following their Netflix documentary (which hit Number 1 on the charts) and this summer’s Circus tour victory lap, which saw them perform to more than 700,000 fans across the UK and Ireland.
The band were inspired to open the door to their world when creating this album, embracing the opportunity to work with friends old and new and celebrate timeless Take That qualities: harmonies, great musicianship and musical evolution. The end result, their 10th studio album, is a sparkly, energetic album laden with pop hits and inspired by disco, house and classic pop.
From opening track Wonderkids – a punchy, tongue in cheek commentary on the band’s journey, with musicianship reminiscent of classic Take That tracks like Patience and Back For Good – to closer Masterpiece – written with Tom Odell and featuring multiple layers of delicate piano – the band have spread their wings on this new body of work. It’s bold, celebratory and embraces everything fans have always loved about the band, while continuing to evolve their sound. It’s a record full of energy, optimism and emotion, celebrating the journey so far while looking firmly towards the future.
Next summer sees the band embark on the Dreamers Tour, their biggest European tour in years, with 31 shows in 31 cities across 16 countries. Consisting of festival and outdoor shows in beautiful locations and iconic European music venues, the band will perform music from Dreamers, as well as classic hits from their back catalogue, in shows which are guaranteed to entertain audiences of all ages.
