Take That have released another track from upcoming album Dreamers, out 20th November – pre-order here. New single Higher is the fifth to be released from the new album and was premiered by Vernon Kay on BBC Radio 2 this morning – listen here.

New album Dreamers is shaping up to represent the very essence of Take That past and present; songs that teem with melody and earworms, encompassing a host of genres including uplifting radio pop, folk, house, classic piano ballads and grand orchestral pop. Latest drop Higher is a disco-infused track with Howard Donald on lead vocals which aligns perfectly with the spirit of the new music – 12 tracks of invigorated, dreamy pop.

The release of the album comes within a year of reflection for the band, following their Netflix documentary (which hit Number 1 on the charts) and this summer’s Circus tour victory lap, which saw them perform to more than 700,000 fans across the UK and Ireland. The band were inspired to open the door to their world when creating this album, embracing the opportunity to work with friends old and new and celebrate timeless Take That qualities: harmonies, great musicianship and musical evolution.

From opening track Wonderkids – a punchy, tongue in cheek commentary on the band’s journey, with musicianship reminiscent of classic Take That tracks like Patience and Back For Good – to closer Masterpiece – written with Tom Odell and featuring multiple layers of delicate piano – the band have spread their wings on this new body of work. It’s bold, celebratory and embraces everything fans have always loved about the band, while continuing to evolve their sound. It’s a record full of energy, optimism and emotion, celebrating the journey so far while looking firmly towards the future.

Next summer sees the band embark on the Dreamers Tour, their biggest European tour in years, with 31 shows in 31 cities across 16 countries. Consisting of festival and outdoor shows in beautiful locations and iconic European music venues, the band will perform music from Dreamers, as well as classic hits from their back catalogue, in shows which are guaranteed to entertain audiences of all ages.

The tour kicks off on 3rd June in Switzerland, before visiting Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, France, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Spain, Italy and Austria, before wrapping up with a final date in Germany on 23rd July.

2026 has so far been another bumper year for the band and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. Each piece of new music released so far has delighted fans and fuelled anticipation for the forthcoming release of Dreamers.
