Unhurried by time and unperturbed by fads and fashion, The Lathums continue their single-minded mission to spread the joys of deeply felt songwriting with the release of their first new music in more than 12 months, revealing Vice Versa today (Fri 17 July 2026). Now counting down weeks rather than months to the five-year anniversary of the seismic release of their debut No.1 album, the band led by heart-on-sleeve, sweet-singing street poet, Alex Moore, re-emerge in typically reflective mood while simultaneously signposting their future plans.
After warming up with a run of purposely intimate live dates earlier this month, The Lathums take on summer energised by the unwavering support of their loyal fans. That enduring connection, combined with an openness to influences beyond their close-knit circle, has helped fuel the band’s latest burst of creativity. Visually encapsulated with an emotive video, shot by long-term collaborator, James Slater, Vice Versa’s lyrics ponder vulnerability and seek self-assurance.
