The Snuts today release their new single ‘In Motion’, listen here, the latest track taken from their forthcoming fourth album, Joy In Short Moments. The record is out on 23 October via Happy Artist Records in partnership with Virgin Music Group.
Returning to the anthemic, guitar-driven sound of the band’s early festival favourites, ‘In Motion’ became a standout moment during their recent sold-out European tour, earning an incredible response from the crowd each night. The run included sold-out shows in Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne, alongside an appearance at Lollapalooza Berlin last week.
‘In Motion’ – the new record’s opener – reflects frontman Jack Cochrane’s search for meaning in everyday life. Inspired by the idea that the choices we make today set our futures in motion, the song explores impermanence, personal growth and the enduring connection between two people moving through life together.
Speaking about the track, Cochrane says: “Yung Pueblo describes ‘in motion’ as the essence of life and healing, emphasising that our present actions, driven by self-awareness, set our future in motion.”
