Following the success of his debut single, ‘Time Out’ (3 million + streams), London-based pop singer-songwriter AJ Wander has now released an EP that features ‘Time Out’ in 3 different forms, including a stripped and piano version, via Elevation. Since November last year strong Spotify editorial play listings have allowed music fans worldwide to discover this talented young musician.

“I’m over the moon to get to relive the release of this song once again with this mini EP! Witnessing people relate to the song and developing their own personal relationship with it has been really moving for me. I wrote the song through a few too many tears whilst sat at my piano during the first heartbreak chapter of my life. I wanted to share how the song sounded in the room just after it had been written and how that developed into the version of the track I released back in November.”  A J Wander June 2021

Prior to the ongoing pandemic, AJ had been running himself ragged playing covers at piano bars and hotels across the UK. Once lockdown hit, he turned all his energy and focus into creating his own music and pushing forward his solo career. Wander’s drive paid off as his new music led him to sign a management and recording deal with Elevation, a USA-based music company that specialises in artist development, and a publishing deal with BDi Music, administered globally by Bucks Music Group. With more music to come, Wander is poised as one of the British artists to watch in 2021.

While his songs tackle relational pain lyrically, they are uplifting and not despairing. They carry a more cinematic, inspiring quality that stays with the listener in the truest sense of pop traditions. Wander’s emotionally engaging tenor and melodic piano riffs provide a warmth and depth rarely seen from a young songwriter.
