Summer is here! Get ready for the official start of the season with the statement dance track of the summer, ‘I Love Your Smile’, from super-producer collective W.D.C and Samira.

The classic feel-good anthem ‘I Love Your Smile’ – a continual crowd pleaser since it’s original release over 30 years ago – has been reworked for a new generation, with fresh production and the immediately captivating vocals of Samira, who launches her first music since becoming a household name on summer’s hottest show Love Island in 2018.

W.D.C are an anonymous collective of producers from the UK responsible for millions of record sales and multiple well known hit songs. They have combined their hit-making success to create the W.D.C (Who Dis Collective), with the intention to champion new talent and showcase a new generation of talent to the world.

Who better to launch their first track with than the almighty Samira, who has carved an early musical career in the West End and is now ready to take the world by storm. The Bermondsey born artist is no stranger to the stage and has spent the last twelve months crafting material for her forthcoming debut album with some of the music industry’s hottest songwriters and producers, including Kal Lavelle (Ed Sheeran, Izzy Bizu), Cutfather (Demi Lovato, The Pussycat Dolls), Ryan Ashley (H.E.R, Anne-Marie), Lil Eddie (Maluma, Rita Ora), Kelli-Leigh (Duke Dumont, SecondCity, Mistajam),  Hoost (Rina Sawayama, MNEK), and Bill Maybury (Cian Ducrot, Kenzie, Sam Fischer).

Speaking about the release W.D.C say: “’I Love Your Smile’ is such a classic song, and when we teamed up with Samira, we knew straight away that it had to be the first track we put out. Samira is an amazing talent and has brought great energy to the single.”

Samira adds: “’I Love Your Smile’ is such an important song to me  – not only is it one of my mum’s favourite throwback songs, my sister is actually named after Shanice, the original singer. I couldn’t say no when offered the chance to record it! After the couple of years we’ve all had, launching my music career with such a positive, feel-good summer track felt like a no-brainer!”

If ever there’s been a year to party hard and celebrate it’s 2022 – and ‘I Love Your Smile’ is set to soundtrack millions of memories made and shared around the world.
