W.D.C and Samira release acoustic single

W.D.C and Samira are back with the acoustic & stripped version of the statement dance track of the summer, ‘I Love Your Smile.

Summer is not over yet! After their debut single was featured on Love Island, hit the Spotify UK Viral Chart and amassed over 500k streams in just a few weeks, super-producer collective W.D.C and Samira are back with the acoustic & stripped version of the statement dance track of the summer, ‘I Love Your Smile.’ Listen HERE.

Speaking about the new acoustic & stripped version, Samira says: “I had a ball recording this version of the track, doing it in a way that really gave the melody and the emotion of the song room to breathe. It really gave me the chance to show what I can do vocally as well, so I’m super excited for people to hear it.”

The classic feel-good anthem ‘I Love Your Smile’ – a continual crowd pleaser since its original release over 30 years ago – was reworked for a new generation, with fresh production and the immediately captivating vocals of Samira, who has launched her first music since becoming a household name on summer’s hottest show Love Island in 2018.

W.D.C are an anonymous collective of producers from the UK responsible for millions of record sales and multiple well known hit songs. They have combined their hit-making success to create the W.D.C (Who Dis Collective), with the intention to champion new talent and showcase a new generation of talent to the world.

Who better to have launched their first track with than the almighty Samira, who has carved an early musical career in the West End and is now ready to take the world by storm. The Bermondsey born artist is no stranger to the stage and gained nationwide fame after appearing in ITV’s flagship summer series Love Island. After release, ‘I Love Your Smile’ has been streamed over 500k times, was played on BBC Radio 1, Kiss Radio 100 and has been featured multiple times in Love Island and Love Island Aftersun.
