George Crosby builds on the open-hearted allure that he introduced with ‘She Got It Bad’ as he today unveils his debut EP ‘We Stand Alone’. The EP opens with the title track, which is also his brand new single.

‘We Stand Alone’ sets the tone for the timelessness that follows throughout the rest of the EP. George’s rich, seductive timbre captures the rush of falling irresistibly under someone’s spell. His widescreen 21st century vocals feel like a male answer to the modern vintage elegance of Lana Del Rey, Florence + The Machine and Arlo Parks.

George co-wrote and co-produced the song alongside Wendy Wang (Birdy). It also features co-production from the Grammy-winning Dan Grech-Marguerat (The Killers, George Ezra) and a co-write credit for Fran Hall. Listen HERE.

The ‘We Stand Alone’ EP is completed by three other new songs. ‘Too Hot To Handle’ channels the suave songcraft of the New Romantic era into the present day before George maximizes his lovestruck charm on the absence-makes-the-heart-growing-fonder ‘Only Ever Cry On Planes’. The final song, ‘Just Say Maybe’, finds George expressing the confidence to leave a relationship undefined, his slick baritone and poised spoken word amplified by its warm, spacious production.

George adds, “The ‘We Stand Alone’ EP is a collection of songs that I think encapsulates what I’m about and my journey. The recordings span the last three years and the songs were written across London and Los Angeles, influenced by special people I’ve met along the way and who’ve contributed so much to my vision. Each song had its own little distinct universe so joining them together felt right for my first EP. I’m delighted to be able to finally share them.”
