7-piece garage-rock band West Thebarton have released their debut album, Different Beings Being Different, via Domestic La La today. It is available to stream/download, and to buy on limited vinyl. The band’s debut showcases frontman Reverend Ray’s gravelly and raw vocals, accompanied by thrashy guitars. Rev describes the new LP as “real Aussie straight-from-the-gut rock. I wanted the record to be so grandiose, but not try and be a pub rock cliche. Listen here.

This Summer, West Thebarton are heading over to the UK for the first time as a band. They’re playing Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall on Friday 8th August, and then head to Reading & Leeds Festival later that month. West Thebarton play the BBC Radio 1 Stage at Reading on Saturday 25th August, and Leeds on Sunday 26th August.
