Heralded as one of the most outstanding newcomers to come from Germany in many a year, GIANT ROOKS have released new EP WILD STARE where they showcase their musical spectrum, exuberant talent and infectious serenity.
“I tried to put my own spin on it, it was very quick and painless. He pretty much knew what he wanted, when it was good, it was good. He’s a very talented man.”
Following the release of their debut album ‘Replica’ earlier this year – which charted within the Top 10 on the Official UK Indie Chart – the band are currently in the middle of an extensive UK and European tour.
With less than a month to go until the gates open, the countdown is now well and truly on for Reading and Leeds 2019. Local groups have now been added to the bill from Leeds based Centre Stage and Futuresound competitions
The UK and Swedish duo Hang Massive, the world’s most renowned Hang and Handpan players, have announced their first ever full UK tour. The duo’s new live show incorporates stunning visuals, and beats and bass to complement the rich sound of the Hang.
“In the ‘80s, Hanoi Rocks had a very special relationship with Japan,” explains Monroe,“and it will always be one of my favourite countries. Plus, they still live for rock ‘n’ roll as it should be celebrated.”
