Backyard Cinema’s critically acclaimed screenings of Baz Luhrmann’s iconic 1996 Romeo+Juliet is set to come to the north-west for the first time in August. Enjoyed by over 100,000 fans during its time in London, the exclusive week of screenings will take place at the beautiful Grade II listed Albert Hall in Manchester.

Screening the iconic film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, the greatest love story ever told will set spines tingling amongst atmospheric candle-lit aisles of the grand and ornate chapel, now one of UK’s most mesmeric venues. The famous movie soundtrack will be brought to life with a live band and 12-piece choir performing before the film, during the interval and after the screening. Expect to hear favourites including Young Hearts Run Free, Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good), When Doves Cry and many more.

Strictly limited in numbers, the screenings are sure to sell quickly with signups for pre sale access already in the thousands. Visit backyardcinema.co.uk/manchester for an opportunity to get your tickets before the crowds.
