14. Hideout Festival

One of Croatia’s most-famed dance music festivals

Hideout Festival made a record breaking post-pandemic comeback in 2022 and now it’s full steam ahead for the 2023 edition. This year’s edition will be bigger and better than ever, with a lineup that includes the biggest names across the full spectrum of electronic music and first wave names including Crucast, Gorgon City, Interplanetary Criminal, Jayda G, Patrick Topping, Solardo, Wilkinson.

15. EXIT FESTIVAL

The Prodigy return to Serbia’s premier festival, EXIT

Location: Petrovaradin Fortress, Serbia

The EXIT 2023 programme runs from July 6th – 9th at the famous Petrovaradin Fortress and it will be headlined by electronic music revolutionary Skrillex, rock sensation Viagra Boys, the Keinemusik collective as well as CamelPhat, Hot Since 82, Vintage Culture and Indira Paganotto. The performances of The Toasters, Cockney Rejects, Human Rias, Mortal Kombat, Zoe Kida and many others have also been confirmed. A total of 23 names are ready to take their place in the EXIT Universe by coming to four of Exit’s favourite stages – Main Stage, mts Dance Arena, Visa Fusion and Explosive for this fantastic four day celebration.

16. The One In the Woods 

Liverpool’s woodland techno festival returns bigger than ever

While people continue to talk about the legendary One In The Woods debut back in July 2022, all eyes now turn to next year as the Liverpool juggernauts return with an even bigger line-up.

17. Les Plages Électroniques 

Europe’s answer to Coachella

Location: Cannes, France

On August 4th, 6th 2023, the gorgeous city of Cannes in the South of France will once again welcome the much anticipated return of Les Plages Électroniques. This time, it comes in a new format with a renewed visual identity and program makeover that features the cream of the French and international scene from the worlds of electronic music, rap and pop, with up to 60,000 people expected over the three days. Once again, Les Plages Électroniques make up one of the most varied line-ups that can be found in France, including multi-instrumental internet sensation Mezerg, The Blessed Madonna and her top shelf house and techno selections, Bellaire and his sweet blend of house and disco, and Pedro Winter who will be ringing in the 20th anniversary of the legendary Ed Banger label.

18. Reggae Land

The world famous Milton Keynes bowl will host Reggae Land for the first time

Reggae Land 2023 is going to be bigger and better than ever before as it moves to the legendary “The Milton Keynes National Bowl”. Taking place on 5th and 6th August there will be a heavyweight lineup of artists from across the reggae and dub spectrum with both red-hot new stars, enduring pioneers and plenty of legends all playing in a family-friendly and authentic Caribbean wonderland. 19. Sonus Festival

The 10th anniversary of the Croatian festival stalwart

Location: Zrce Beach, Croatia2023 will see Sonus celebrate its 10th anniversary at the very forefront of Croatia’s underground festival scene. Returning from 20th to 24th of August, next year’s special anniversary will see another world class line-up of international talents on the gorgeous shores of Zrce beach on Croatia’s famous party island Pag.

20. Dimensions Festival

Croatia’s most forward thinking festival

Memories from a historic 10th anniversary are still etched into the minds of all who attended, but now Dimensions looks forward to summer 2023. Croatia’s most forward thinking festival is back at new and already much loved home The Garden Resort in Tisno from 31st August – 4th September with another untouchable mix of cult stars, pioneering legends and new school talents as well as the famous boat and label parties, live sets, back to back exclusives, debuts and much more.

21. Soultown

Soultown returns to Croydon with the legendary UB40

Bringing some much needed summer soul to the South East, Soultown Festival plays out in a beautiful site in Beckenham, Kent which is 50% bigger than last year with more bars, more staff, more toilers and improved disabled access and viewing points. 

It boasts over 30 street food stalls serving a whole host of tasty treats, cultured food and providing drinks from entry level to premium gins. There will be music across two spectacular main stages with immersive light, sound and visuals, as well as special VIP areas. VIP tickets include four drinks (beer, wine, spirit and mixer), a food voucher, private bar, luxury toilets, makeup bar, prime stage viewing area and more.

22. One Out Festival

Surreys premier electronic music festival returns in 2023

One Out Festival has announced its next edition after a very successful and sell-out event in 2022. Aiming to do things much bigger and better. The festival has already revealed some names from their phase one lineup but promises a plethora of great talent from across the electronic scene to be on display.

23. MDLBEAST Soundstorm

Saudi Arabia’s largest festival returns this December

MDLBEAST’s Soundstorm once again raised the bar for musical experiences in the Middle East with its latest festival. In all, 732,000 attendees from all over the world descended upon the desert with 184 artists from more than 20 countries playing over eight stages. These included 10 Saudi female artists like Baloo, Birdperson and Cosmicat playing next to international stars such as Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, Adam Beyer, Carl Cox and many more. There was over 50 hour music in all with two new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™️ set for the Tallest Temporary Stage at 41m and 268cm, and The Most LED Lights in a Display with 60,053,376 in total. The festival will return in December 2022 and once again promises a whole new experience.
