In the Park Festival returns to Liverpool’s stunning Sefton Park this Summer and the line up just got bigger as chart toppers Red Rum Club have just been announced, they will be joining one of Liverpool’s biggest musical success stories in recent years – Jamie Webster for his biggest headline show to date, with 40,000 music fans expected for the singalong.

Red Rum Club are just the latest big addition to be added to the every growing line up for In the Park, which is set to become a firm fixture in the festival calendar.

Fresh off the back of a sold-out homecoming show at Liverpool’s M&S Arena at the weekend, the northern six-piece have made a solid name for themselves in recent years, with a heavy amount of touring that has yielded them a huge global fanbase including global superstar Elton John pouring praise on the band. In March this year they released their third album ‘Western Approaches’ to critical acclaim and breaking into the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart. Red Rum Club have plenty of history with Jamie Webster, having supported him on his duo of sold out On the Waterfront shows last summer in front of 25,000 people on Liverpool’s iconic Pier Head.

With an already buzzing support line up featuring The Reytons, The Mary Wallopers and Brooke Combe, the addition of Red Rum Club under Jamie Webster himself makes this one of the biggest shows in the city for 2024, with the setting of Sefton Park the ideal location for the perfect summer’s day event.
