Irish singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe has released a new single, “Painter (Double-Edged Sword)”. Listen here. His new song explores the theme of sacrifice, reflecting on the life choices that shape who we become and the different paths Aaron could have taken. Balancing the opportunities gained against those left behind, the track offers a personal insight into the realities of pursuing a dream and the sacrifices that come with it. The song has already struck a chord with fans at Aaron’s live shows over the past few months.

The release follows “Forever Now”, which has surpassed 651K streams and continues to gain international radio exposure.

The new single arrives at the peak of an extraordinary few months for Aaron Rowe. In his first full year as a recording artist, Aaron has played 100 shows across North America, Australia, NZ & Europe, including to 10K people at Electric Picnic festival in Ireland. He has added 450K social followers in the past three months.

Following a breakthrough summer that has seen Aaron’s international profile soar, he joined Dermot Kennedy on his US tour, performing in stadiums to thousands of fans. He also performed alongside Dermot for two nights at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, before announcing a further UK and Ireland headline tour. On 31 October, Aaron will be supporting The Script at Dublin’s 3Arena, following a viral exchange with Danny O’Donoghue that led to the invitation.

Last year’s debut EP, Exodus, marked a defining moment in Aaron’s creative journey, exploring themes of identity, movement, belonging and his Irish heritage of migration. The project resonated deeply with audiences across borders, establishing Aaron as one of Ireland’s most exciting new songwriting talents. His ascent continued last year sharing stages with the likes of Zach Bryan, Sam Fender, and Kingfishr as well as his own headline shows across the UK, Ireland, U.S and Europe with a standout debut at Glastonbury Festival.
