Following continued support from BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing for their recent singles Beautiful World and Love In The Afternoon – alongside numerous editorial playlists across Spotify, Apple and Amazon – and recent live dates supporting Inhaler and Mt Joy, Liverpool / Nottingham indie rock troubadours BLONDES have announced further live dates in July and September in support of their forthcoming IN SEPARATION EP, to be released by Lab Records / C3 Records on 14 July.

Thu 13 LIVERPOOL Kazimier Stockroom
Wed 26 LONDON Hoxton Colours

Sun 17 MANCHESTER Castle
Mon 18 BRISTOL Crofters Rights
Tue 19 SHEFFIELD Record Junkee
Wed 20 NOTTINGHAM Rough Trade

Talking about the new EP, the band say: “In Separation is a collection of songs written and recorded over the past two years. It’s a project that explores the ways in which we become disconnected from one another, taking you on an emotional journey through separation to reconciliation. It speaks to the ways we live with, and without, each other. We feel it reflects more of the breadth of our songwriting than our first project, with us having matured a little both personally and musically since Coming Of Age and our Out The Neighbourhood EP.”

Capturing more of the warm, invigorating aesthetic they have been developing in recent times, the EP sees BLONDES pursue a rich and immersive atmosphere throughout, continuing their ascent as one of the more mesmerising and euphoric bands emerging right now.

Following the rapturous support for their 2021 Out The Neighbourhood EP, BLONDES knew that their next steps had extremely big boots to fill. Produced in parts by Rich Turvey and Anthony Genn, the IN SEPARATION EP sees them showcase some of their most passionate songwriting to date, drawing upon their experiences as four young adults coming of age in unusual times.
