Rising soul artist Celeste announces a headline tour for April 2020, her biggest UK shows to date including London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on Wednesday 29th. Tickets can be purchased via the DICE app and O2 pre-sale from 10am on Wednesday 30th October, ahead of the general sale from 10am on Friday 1st November.

Celeste recently joined the legendary British singer-songwriter and musician Paul Weller for a very special performance of one of his best-loved hits, ‘You Do Something To Me,’ released on Apple Music today. With Weller on piano and both artists on vocals, it’s a stunning 2019 reimagination of the classic song, originally released in 1995 on Weller’s third solo album Stanley Road following his hugely successful years as frontman of The Jam and The Style Council.

Currently in Los Angeles, where she performed a breathtaking sold out set at the Peppermint Club earlier this week, the Brighton-raised British-Jamaican singer has had an incredible year so far with notable festival dates across Europe including debut appearances at Glastonbury, Primavera, Field Day and Latitude, not to mention supporting the iconic Neneh Cherry in her hometown of Brighton and US superstar Janelle Monae in Berlin. NME hailed Celeste’s midnight set at Primavera “spellbinding,”noting that she “showcased a voice like crushed velvet, that caressed a succession of jazz-tinged instrumentals with seemingly effortless ease. Next year she’ll be on a much, much bigger www.”

Celeste’s current single ‘Strange’ – recently added to the BBC Radio 1 B-list – launched with a spine tingling COLORS session and saw support from the likes of Clara Amfo, DJ Target and Annie Mac, who exclaimed “Such a beautiful record, I can imagine a lot of people being stopped in their tracks right now.”The release followed the enthralling ‘Coco Blood,’ accompanied by a colour-drenched video shot in Jamaica by in-demand director Crackstevensaka Akinola Davies Jr (Blood Orange, Neneh Cherry), and her breakout Lately EP, a captivating introduction to her voice and artistry.

Ahead of her April 2020 tour Celeste is set to play three sold out headline dates at London’s Omeara on November 12th, 13th and 14th before she joins revered UK singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka on tour across Europe this November and December. Don’t miss your chance to see one of the UK’s fiercest new talents live – as NME rightly noted, she won’t be playing smaller stages for much longer.
