A host of 90’s luminaries from the defining music of the decade – Britpop Classical  will join forces for three unique UK shows next summer, which will see them performing their hits and more iconic songs from the era with full live orchestra.

The shows will take place at London’s Eventim Apollo on 7th June, Birmingham Symphony Hall on 8th June, and Manchester Bridgewater Hall on 9th June, with tickets on pre-sale on Tuesday 17th October at 10am, and general sale on Friday 20th October at 10am, available from Ticketmaster.

The one-off run of shows will be the ultimate night out to celebrate Britpop, and will feature Simon Fowler ( Ocean Colour Scene), John Power ( Cast / The La’s), Mike Chadwick ( Levellers), Mark Morriss ( The Bluetones), and Saffron ( Republica) for the symphonic celebration.

Between them they are responsible for millions of sales with huge 90’s hits including: The Day We Caught the Train and The Riverboat Song ( Ocean Colour Scene), Walkaway and Alright ( Cast), There She Goes (The La’s), What A Beautiful Day and One Way ( Levellers), Slight Return and Cut Some Rug ( The Bluetones), and Ready to Go and Drop Dead Gorgeous ( Republica).

The announcement comes in the 30th anniversary year since the term Britpop was originally coined.

Mark Morriss of The Bluetones said:
