Circa Waves announce intimate UK tour in support of new album

Circa Waves today announce plans for a series of nationwide intimate album launch shows this March to celebrate the release of their forthcoming fourth studio album ‘Sad Happy’

Circa Waves today announce plans for a series of nationwide intimate album launch shows this March to celebrate the release of their forthcoming fourth studio album ‘Sad Happy’ which is due out on 13th March via Prolifica Inc /[PIAS].

The shows will see the four piece take to the road in early March, kicking things off at Kingston’s Pryzm on 12th March the day before the album is set to drop. They’ll then head on the road for shows in Nottingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Dundee and Preston. Fans can expect to hear songs from their fourth studio album ‘Sad Happy’, including recent tracks ‘Jacqueline’, ‘Move To San Francisco’ and ‘Be Your Drug.’

The tour will give fans a rare opportunity to see the four piece up close and personal. Speaking of returning to the road, frontman Kieran Shudall comments; “We wanted to give you the chance to be the first to listen to our new tracks off our new album Sad Happy up close and personal. These shows will be mad, sweaty and rowdy!!! Come down and celebrate the release of our new album!!!”

In a day and age when the barriers to releasing music have been well and truly torn down, the prolific nature of Kierans’ writing, releasing a brand new album of the back of their last ‘What’s It Like Over There?’, coupled with Circa Waves relentless appetite for playing live and their own label imprint  cementing the Liverpool four piece’s reputation as one of the UK’s most dynamic and exciting bands.

‘Sad Happy’ distills Circa Waves sound into its purest form whilst pushing forward into a more expansive and mature space. It’s a moving, energising and timelessly melodic record and incisive in its portrait of modern life. The heart and soul of the record lies in its hymns of fading relationships, self-deprecation and anxieties of modern day.
